Monday night April 8th we gathered together as close friends and family at President Wilkinson's home we had a nice visit and he was given some great council and he was set apart as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, by these great men. On Tuesday, Perry and I took him to the Airport and sent him off to Salt Lake where my Parents picked him up and he stayed the night with them. Connor, Sidney, and Scott, made the trip from Idaho to see him off as well. Wednesday, April 10th he reported to the Provo, Mission Training Center. He will spend 12 days there, then he will be off to the West Indies to love and serve the people for 2 years. His mission encompasses a large area, including St Martin, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and three countries in S. America; Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana. He could be assigned anywhere within the area. We are excited to hear from him, we expect to get an email once a week and I will occasionally post updates/photos. Here is a little about Kyle and why he chose to serve a mission.
